WHAT WE DO
We design courses. We help teachers write curriculum. We coach teachers in their use of these new teaching tools. It is our passion.
Our goal is to harness innate creativity to help teachers design work that is engaging and empowering in ways that cross curricular boundaries. Whether project-based or stand alone, the lessons we help teachers create open pathways for the humanities and the sciences to blend seamlessly into meaningful learning experiences.
Each course design relies on the development of unique protocols that encourage students to think deeply, speak thoughtfully, debate confidently, collaborate willingly, and produce professional work.
OUR MISSION
To seek out transformational connections between disciplines and instructional practices in order to promote teaching and learning that is student focused, collaborative, multimodal, and interdisciplinary.
SUSAN AND KRISTINE (l to r) have a deep connection to reading–Kristine has book clubs in her classroom and Susan belongs to book clubs outside of the classroom. As bold, divergent thinkers and innovators, they believe that authentic problems create the most effective learning opportunities for students. Kristine and Susan are committed to helping teachers support each other through true integration of coursework. We are truly better together.
